Hello Friends!
With the arrival of spring, there are lots of opportunities to connect with Cedarvale and with each other! We’re excited to share that the City of Toronto is hosting a Planting Event right at Cedarvale Park on Sunday, May 4th.
Important Note: This event is organized by the City of Toronto, not Friends of Cedarvale. We’re simply spreading the word so more people can take part! You can find more details about this and other events through the City’s Tree Planting & Stewardship Events Calendar.
🗓️ Date: Sunday, May 4
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: 57 Strathearn Rd | Meet on the slope, north of the dog park
💰 Cost: Free!
The City of Toronto is inviting the community to help plant native trees and shrubs, increasing local biodiversity and creating valuable wildlife habitat.
No registration required for individuals and small groups! However, if you're coming with a group of five or more, please email greentoronto@toronto.ca to register in advance so they can have enough tools and materials available.
Accessibility: If you have accessibility needs, reach out to the City of Toronto as soon as possible for support.
Note: If you’d like to get a reminder for this event, consider getting a free ticket through our Eventbrite page.
We hope to see you there!
